Sand Tray Therapy
It can be used to cope with trauma, anxiety, and other issues. It is a psychological framework and can be directive or nondirective, verbal or nonverbal.

The therapist provides the client with a tray or box filled with sand as well as a variety of miniature objects to create a world and/or to respond to prompts with.
Clients choose which toys to incorporate into the tray and arrange them in any way they want. Meanwhile, the therapist mainly serves as an observer and rarely interrupts the client.

Sand Tray Therapy can help adolescents and adults, particularly those who’ve experienced trauma or a bereavement.
